Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide

There’s an updated (November 2024) Dynamics 265 Licensing Guide which has updates in three areas.

First of all, Customer Voice is added back on to the price list as a standalone product – find details on page 17.

Secondly, there are some changes to the Business Performance Management Capabilities table on page 22 showing rights for Operations-Activity and Team Members licensed users.

And finally, there are some amendments for Dynamics 365 Contact Center Voice specifying that included Intelligent Voicebot minutes are to be used with a bot authored with Copilot Studio, and that any generative AI capabilities need separate capacity purchased via a Copilot Studio licence.

There’s an updated (October 2023) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide. The main change is the removal of the Customer Voice standalone licence, although the allowance of Customer Voice responses remains for certain licences such as a Sales Enterprise User SL.

Customer Insights customers are now entitled to Customer Voice capabilities (page 15), and there are other minor language changes and clarifications detailed in the Change Log on page 57.

The main changes are the renaming of the Common Data Service to Dataverse, and the addition of 2,000 Customer Voice responses to the entitlements for Customer Insights.

There’s an updated (August 2020) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide with two main changes.

The first is for the rebranding of Forms Pro to Dynamics 365 Customer Voice – find more info on our blog here: https://bit.ly/3abDtu0 – and the second is for the release of the new Dynamics 365 Sales Premium bundle, an offer combining Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Dynamics 365 Sales Insights at a price of $135 per user per month, a saving of $10 over buying the applications separately.

Forms Pro is rebranded as Dynamics 365 Customer Voice

Microsoft announce that Forms Pro is rebranded as Dynamics 365 Customer Voice, an enterprise feedback management solution. There are templates to help users get started on gathering feedback and the ability to analyse feedback and act on it.

There are no changes to the licensing – customers with Enterprise flavours of Dynamics 365 licences have 2,000 survey responses included per tenant per month, and Office 365 users can buy an add-on for the same capacity. Existing customers don’t need to do anything – current surveys in Forms Pro are moved to Dynamics 365 Customer Voice.
