Dynamics 365 Sales Insights capabilities added to Sales Enterprise licences

Microsoft announce that Dynamics 365 Sales Insights capabilities are added to Sales Enterprise licences. It’s not the same capacity that you’d get with a full Sales Insights licence, but Sales Enterprise-licensed users can now make use of Business Card Scanning, Conversation Intelligence, Sales Accelerator, and Lead & Opportunity Scoring.

There’s an updated (August 2020) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide with two main changes.

The first is for the rebranding of Forms Pro to Dynamics 365 Customer Voice – find more info on our blog here: https://bit.ly/3abDtu0 – and the second is for the release of the new Dynamics 365 Sales Premium bundle, an offer combining Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Dynamics 365 Sales Insights at a price of $135 per user per month, a saving of $10 over buying the applications separately.

Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide

There’s an updated (August 2019) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide with the changes focusing on two main areas. Firstly, for Forms Pro, there’s clarification on page 26 that Forms Pro survey respondents don’t need to be licensed as long as the survey designer is licensed, and there’s a handy table on page 55 showing the differences between Forms and Forms Pro. Secondly, AI for Sales becomes Sales Insights, and there’s a new Call Intelligence Add-on which adds an additional 1,000 hours of conversation intelligence per month, detailed on page 51.
