Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide

There’s an updated (March 2024) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide with just a few minor changes. On pages 4/5 the Base and Attach licences table is updated, removing Field Service Contractor, Guides, and Remote Assist since these never qualify as Base licences. In addition, the capacities for Supply Chain Management on page 31 are updated to include Electronic Invoicing and Intelligent Order Management.

Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide

There’s an updated (May 2021) Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide. The first change of note is the amending of the term “entity” to “table” throughout, in line with the updating of some terminology in Dataverse – find details here: https://bit.ly/2Rls5WM. And the second change is the introduction of Electronic Invoicing transactions – see page 32. 100 transactions per tenant are included with Commerce, Finance, Project Operations, and Supply Chain Management licences, and there’s an Add-on available which adds an additional 1,000 transactions per month. Note that transactions do not roll over between months and customers must license for peak capacity.
