Microsoft announce new prerequisites for the standalone Agent 365 licence.

While it was originally released with no particular licensing requirements, Microsoft have been regularly updating the licensing guidance and terms since the launch. From 1 June, 2026, you must be licensed for either Microsoft 365 E5 (Enterprise customers), Microsoft 365 F5 Defender and Purview (Frontline Workers), or Microsoft 365 Business Premium (SMB customers). There’s no change for Microsoft 365 E7, which, of course, includes Agent 365.
