The Home Use Program is available to those customers who have active Software Assurance on their Office suite or applications licences, and it enables users of licensed devices to buy Office products at a heavily discounted price for home use. Office 2019 is now available through this program with a choice of Office Professional Plus 2019, Office Home and Business 2019, Visio Professional 2019 and Project Professional 2019.

This is where you’ll find presentations to learn about HUP whether you’re a user, executive or Benefits Administrator, and also where you can download marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters and web banners to help you promote HUP in your organisation.

The Home Use Program FAQ site is updated for Office 2016.
- if you have Office 2013 HUP you must uninstall before installing Office 2016, and
- you can’t install Office Professional Plus 2016 if you have Office 365 (including the trial) installed.

There’s a change to the Home Use Program rights: previously you could install HUP software on up to 2 devices (2 PCs or 2 Macs), now the October 2015 Product Terms document confirms that it’s only one device – see page 75.

There’s a slight change to the Home Use Program rights: previously the wording stipulated that the software could be installed on one home computer and one portable device, now it’s on up to two devices which can be either 2 PCs or 2 Macs, dependent on what’s been purchased.
