Microsoft have updated the Microsoft 365 Enterprise Licensing Guidance website.

The refresh includes new references to AI Agent governance and Microsoft 365 E7, following its launch on 1 May, 2026. Newly added sections on the first page cover relevant licensing rules such as multiplexing, licence reassignment, and outsourcing. Alongside a couple of updated scenarios, there’s a sprinkling of amendments to the terminology throughout.
