The Power Platform licensing resources have been updated for October 2026.

This month’s key changes include clarification around Power Apps Premium licences when using Apps in the Copilot Managed Runtime host.

The Dynamics 365 licensing resources are updated for October 2026.

The main change is the introduction of Dynamics 365 Sustainability, a rebranding of Microsoft Sustainability Manager. Available in two flavours, this set of tools helps organisations track their environmental impact.

Software Assurance resources

We’ve uncovered some useful and updated Software Assurance resources.

The Program Guide update includes typo and formatting corrections, while cleaning up (some!) references to the obsolete Windows To Go benefit. However, many of the previous Cautionary Notes are still lurking. The FAQs document features general Software Assurance questions and more specific benefits like the Workplace Discount Program and Flexible Virtualization Benefit.

Dynamics 365 licensing resources

There are updated (December 2025) Dynamics 365 licensing resources now available.

As expected, the default Dataverse entitlements have been increased across the Dynamics 365 apps, and Dataverse and Operations storage is now combined into a shared pool per tenant– reflected in tables showing the new and consolidated amounts.

Power Platform licensing resources

There are updated (December 2025) Power Platform licensing resources now available. They are (mostly!) updated to reflect the default Dataverse Database capacity changes across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, with no other major changes.
