OneDrive storage over 5 TB

Microsoft announce that storage for individuals using OneDrive for Business capacity over 5 TB will become read-only starting in November 2026.

Historically, Microsoft allowed users with eligible licences to apply for up to 25 TB, and even unlimited storage, but the cap currently sits at 5 TB. Customers with a higher legacy allowance must now buy the Extra Storage capacity packs introduced in June, or set up Pay-As-You-Go billing, an option that rolls out during November 2026.
