Microsoft have announced that Scout has been renamed to Autopilot, following its introduction in June 2026 as the first always-on autonomous Agent.

The rebranding (unrelated to Windows Autopilot!) coincides with the new Copilot Home encompassing Copilot Chat and Cowork, and the introduction of Copilot Code for building Apps using natural language.
