Microsoft announce that hotpatching for Windows Server 2025 is now free for Azure Arc-enabled servers. Previously this was free for servers running natively in Azure and cost $1.50 per core per month for Azure Arc-enabled servers. However, the costs stopped on May 15, 2026 for all servers currently enrolled in Hotpatch.
