Azure Savings Plans
Azure Savings Plans are available in the Enterprise Enrollments. The term of an Azure Savings Plan is 1 or 3 years, and customers can choose to pay upfront or monthly, and there are no penalties (in terms of higher costs) for choosing a monthly option. Azure Savings Plans may not be canceled.
Azure Savings Plans are paid for from the Azure Prepayment funds, unless these are exhausted, in which case the remaining balance will appear on the next monthly invoice.
Note that Azure Savings Plans are not aligned to the enrollment anniversary, nor are they pro-rated in any way – they have a 1- or 3-year term regardless of when they were purchased.
