If you’re already a fan of our Microsoft Licensing Body of Knowledge books, then you may have the 2021 version on your bookshelf. This covered the whole of Microsoft licensing current in June 2021. This new range of books splits the original book into three sections – on-premises products, Online Services, and Azure – and includes updates that Microsoft have made to the licensing for 2022/2023. Note that products that are no longer the current version (Windows Server 2019, for example) have been removed from the latest versions of the books and you need to refer to the Microsoft Licensing Body of Knowledge 2021 book for information on licensing older versions of a product.

William Nelson –
This amazing book is so easy to follow and intuitively laid-out to make obtaining product, programme, deployment and scenario-specific information quick and easy to find.
The descriptive language is also very clear and easy to understand.
I would say this is a must have for anyone involved with using, administering, deploying or the management of Microsoft on-premises products.

The BOK 2023 – On-prem Products Edition is my ‘go to’ book when I want an authoritative resource that is easier to read than the official Microsoft Product Use Right documentation. The perfect compliment to BOK 2022 – Azure Edition. 10/10 for ease of use.
Nicola –
