Licensing System Center 2022 for clients
All of the Client Management Licenses are available in a per user version or a per OSE (Operating System Environment) version in a similar way to the User and Device CALs available for Windows Server 2022. System Center Endpoint Protection is available as a User or Device Subscription License (SL). As with the Server MLs, all Client MLs must be initially purchased with SA.
Many customers will acquire their Client Management Licenses through the CAL Suites, and both the Core and Enterprise CAL Suites include a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager CML and a System Center Endpoint Protection SL. See the CAL Suites section for the full list of licenses included in these suites.
