Portable use rights

When Office is acquired through some Volume Licensing agreements or CSP, then portable use rights for Office are available; if a customer has purchased an Office license for a device, then they are also allowed to install Office on a second portable device for the exclusive use of the main user of the originally licensed device. Note that this is not a way to reduce the licenses required in all situations; customers wouldn’t be compliant, for example, if they used portable use rights to license the use of Office on a portable device for a second user. Note also that where there is a requirement within a Volume Licensing agreement to license Office on an organization-wide basis, these rights are not available.
