Licensing Office LTSC 2021

Overview

Office LTSC 2021 is licensed by device: a license is assigned to a device and the software is licensed to be used on that device. Office licenses are a special type of license called a Suite license. This means that when a license is assigned to a device all of the Office products must be installed on that single device rather than being split across a number of devices.

Editions for the PC

Office LTSC 2021 is available in two different editions for the PC: Office LTSC Standard 2021 and Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021. They’re available* through the Volume Licensing agreements and CSP, apart from Office LTSC Standard 2021 which isn’t available programmatically through the EA.

Publisher 2021 comes to End of Support on October 13, 2026.

Editions for the Mac

There’s a single edition of Office for the Mac called Office LTSC Standard for Mac 2021, available through the Volume Licensing agreements (with the exception of the EA), and CSP.
