You’ll find some useful information in the AI Builder Learn document: use the Overview of licensing page to get familiar with the terms used with AI Builder licensing, and then get the detail on the Licensing and AI Builder credits page, with its useful sections on monitoring usage, overage, and an FAQ.

Given the changes to acquiring AI Builder Credits, the last Power Platform Licensing Guide and Power Platform Licensing Deck to contain information about AI Builder are the ones from October 2025.

AI Builder Credits are being replaced by Copilot Credits, and there’s a Licensing and Copilot Credits page to learn about Copilot Credits in the context of using them for the AI Builder tools in Power Apps and Power Automate.
