{"id":121888,"date":"2026-10-02T12:21:30","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T11:21:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.licensingschool.co.uk\/licensing-blog\/?p=121888"},"modified":"2026-10-02T12:21:32","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T11:21:32","slug":"microsoft-365-a7-and-g7-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.licensingschool.co.uk\/licensing-blog\/2026\/10\/02\/microsoft-365-a7-and-g7-launch\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft 365 A7 and Microsoft 365 G7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microsoft 365 A7 for Education and Microsoft 365 G7 for Government Community Cloud (GCC) both launched on 1 October 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two new offerings are positioned as the Education and US Government versions of Microsoft 365 E7, overtaking Microsoft 365 A5 and Microsoft 365 G5 as the top-tier licences available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Education customers, Microsoft 365 A7 comes in flavours for faculty and students, with a Student Use Benefit option also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While not all features of Microsoft 365 G7 are available immediately for GCC customers, additional capabilities are planned to arrive in stages over the coming months.
