Microsoft have released another version of the Power Platform Licensing Guide for December 2025 where a section on the Dataverse MCP Server has been added – the thing that means that AI tools can talk directly to Dataverse data. The updated guide is released to coincide with the start of charges (from 15 December, 2025) for the Dataverse MCP tools when accessed by AI Agents created outside of Microsoft Copilot Studio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
