{"id":1014,"date":"2015-08-03T13:13:51","date_gmt":"2015-08-03T12:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.licensingschool.co.uk\/?p=1014"},"modified":"2015-08-03T13:13:51","modified_gmt":"2015-08-03T12:13:51","slug":"august-2015-enterprise-cal-suite-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.licensingschool.co.uk\/licensing-blog\/2015\/08\/03\/august-2015-enterprise-cal-suite-changes\/","title":{"rendered":"August 2015 Enterprise CAL Suite Changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are two changes to the Enterprise CAL Suite from 1 August 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px\">Firstly, Advanced Threat Analytics is added and is, in fact, added to all the Enterprise CAL Bridges and the Enterprise Mobility Suite too (see page 70 of the August 2015 Product Terms).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px\">Secondly, the System Center Client Management Suite is &#8220;removed&#8221; &#8211; in quotes because the rights to use it will be included in the Enterprise CAL Suite and ECAL Bridge for Office 365 through 31 December, 2016 (page 86).<\/p>\n<p>Due to these changes there are also August 2015 updates to two Volume Licensing Briefs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cBase and Additive CALs\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1bQsSCV\"><u>http:\/\/bit.ly\/1bQsSCV<\/u><\/a>) and<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLicensing the Core and Enterprise CAL Suites\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/J3P8NJ\"><u>http:\/\/bit.ly\/J3P8NJ<\/u><\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both of these briefs include the amendments noted above along with Skype for Business Server CALs replacing Lync CALs, and the second document has a jolly nice definition of Advanced Threat Analytics if that\u2019s a new product for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are two changes to the Enterprise CAL Suite from 1 August 2015.
