POWER AUTOMATE

The Power Automate product is all about automating business processes. It enables organizations to automate processes across modern systems with APIs, where users can create cloud flows by connecting easily to hundreds of applications and making use of the many triggers and actions that are available. This is often known as Digital Process Automation (DPA).

Older, legacy apps probably don’t have APIs but Power Automate still enables users to create desktop flows by recording their keystrokes across the applications via something called Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The licensing of Power Automate differs dependent on the type of process automation that’s required.
